Abstract:

This article is dedicated to piano duets in the art of France Shubert. The specific characteristics of various genres are considered such as synthesis of romanticism and classicism. Based on the analysis of the historical path of piano-duet genre´s evolution, we can identify significant contribution F. Schubert has brought into musical literature.
