The article reveals specific features of applying benchmarking in the work of social and cultural organizations. Shown in the meaning of innovative management, benchmarking is revealed as a way of forming competitive advantages of socio-cultural organization, as well as a type of innovative, interactive and creative behavior in a highly competitive market of socio-cultural services.
