Abstract:

Virtual reality in different periods of history was perceived and comprehended differently by scientists, philosophers and ordinary people. In this regard, the article aims to consider the main directions in determining the virtuality of medieval thinkers, to distinguish differences from the ancient understanding, to draw a parallel and modern research in this area.
