Abstract:

The article presents materials testifying to the stay in the Caucasus of the great Russian singer F.I. Shalyapin, shows the activities of the literary and musical museum «Dacha of Shalyapin» to study, preserve and promote his work, focuses on the role and importance of France as a country that played a huge role in the last years of the artist´s life in the emigration.
