Abstract:

The article analyzes the landscape painting of R.R. Falk in the gradual development of the artist´s pictorial interests in the landscape genre. The landscape concept of each stage is defined, the basic principles of the spatial construction, composition, color and plastic used by the artist, as well as the degree of influence of the developing currents of French art are indicated.
