Abstract:

The article is devoted to the events of the Soviet-Finnish war (November 30, 1939 – March 12, 1940) and their description in Russian emigrant press. The attitude of the emigrant community to Stalin´s personality and his foreign policy is described. The article considers human resources and technical conditions of the Red Army in the ‘Winter War’ and sums up the results of the War.
