Abstract:

The author considers one of the most important directions of Russian song lyrics at the turn of XIX-XX centuries. The problem of love and family values and their importance in the musical culture of that time is analyzed. Special attention is paid to loving romance lyrics, which combined the best specimens of original music and folk culture.
