Abstract:

The reflection of the Civil war taking place in the region in 1917-1920 in the regional periodicals of the North Caucasus is considered in the paper. The features of the events perception occurring on various fronts, the relationship between the population and political power, the attitude of the masses to social and political changes in the North Caucasus by the press of the South of Russia are analyzed. The author also explores the various policies present on the pages of the local press.
